I think they already have problems with the tenant. The tenant is getting people (her father) to repair things without approval. I have had things unfortunately come up early in the renting, but usually you're still in the "honeymoon" phase. It's too bad that Landlord didn't go over right away and check on things. I didn't understand original poster to say that the faucet leaked before the father "fixed" it only that there was low water pressure. If there is a "quirk" like that low water pressure -- it's always better to let the tenant know that it will run a little slow.
