I had my landlord to serve my with eviction papers so I could get help from the state to pay my rent. Due to my disability I had to stop working so I had no income for over a year. Welfare said the only way that they would pay my rent until I received social security was to do a eviction. Awhile later they started paying my. I started receiving my social security , and start paying my own rent and stayed there until three weeks ago, due to a neighbors fire. Now I'm homeless and need to find another place to live. So I need to know how to get this cleared. My landlord wrote a letter stating that all past due rent was paid. Please can someone help me clear this so I can find a place.
