Did you go or send someone to verify the problem and repair. Sounds as if you have not responded at all, just relying on what the tenants state.

According to G (in his post above), she should just rely on what the tenant says. I agree with you; I think she should verify before proceding further. The problem may be fixed now, or it could have been diagnosed incorrectly and the unit still needs work. There's no way to know without following up.
