Vacating Property - Landlord Forum thread 339567

Vacating Property by Eshera (Minnesota) on October 7, 2015 @07:44

I have tenants who signed a two year lease which is up on October 31, with rent due on the first of each month.

They originally signed on November 6 of 2013.

They gave me their 60 day notice, which was stated in the lease, this past September 6th, stating they would be vacating the property on November 5th.

Do they owe for rent for November if they are living there?

They pay for Sept. and they pay for Oct.
They would pay for the first 5 days of November.

Do you mean if they become hold over tenants?

If the tenant leaves Nov 05.That is not problem.

If the tenant needs a few days after the 5th you charge the days she used.

If she decides to stay in apt charge her month to month ,tenant at will.
prepare a month to month rental agreement with the same rules and regulation and condition in the lease agreement if she still want to leave in the apt.
