this landlord was looking at the price difference more than anything else. $3200 vs $4600- $7600. no mention if the guy had a license or was even certified to do the work. if the price was that so much less than other hvac companies, that should have been a red flag itself. what type of install was this guy going to do that would result in a 40-50 percent reduction in price?
