Re: Help - tenant wants to sue over mold!? by Jennifer Rodas Alegre (Colorado) on April 26, 2016 @09:36

Hello,

I didn't realize how serious was it. For three years, I have been ignoring my health problem and black molds have been around in my Apt, Two bedrooms unit.
I have been getting migraines often, and flu-like symptoms. I assumed it was temporary and it could go away but I always get sick a lot.
Till last Friday, I was cleaning out in the under the kitchen sink. I have a friend saw it and told me it is dangerous to health and I could get cancer. It scares me.
I am going to see my doctor and will take my small dog to Vet, to get tested.
I am going to make a report to board of Health or Housing Authority and see what they can help us.
If I am told that my health problems may be found, then sue the landlord can be considerated.
Or better yet, to get legal help to break my lease, we will be able to move out soon.
I am learning so much more about Health safety and How bad is the Apt. unit we live in. It isn't worth paying the rent to get sick all the time anymore.
Thanks for sharing here!
Deaf wife and husband in Colorado.

If you have been ignoring your health for three years I dont believe your landlord is to blame. You are. Do you think you're landlord has eyes in every cabinet. What do you think he is a sniffer dog for mold from a mile away. The this country had any respect for investors which it never will It would be great that you should need to state legally that you are an idiot and you sued you're prior landlord for mild because you were to stupid every time you opened up the cabinet.

move out and give you're landlord a break Possibly consider dying.

The landlord probably worked his whole life to own that property and he rented to a dumb shit like you. You ignored you're health and you are to stupid not to shine light under the sink. Lovely, Poor landlord. Stupid tenant .

Mold grow in hidden spaces by means of tiny, lightweight spores that travel through the air.
You are exposed to mold every day. Most of the time, indoor and outdoor mold growth is obvious and not visible.

Typically it is not at all simple to determine no matter if most of these hidden shape progress are generally substantial.

It's better to hire a certified mold removal specialist nearby your area. Mold presence not only damages property, but can jeopardize human health.
