This is called DRAMA ! And the ONLY way out of it, is to hire a GOOD ATTORNEY to get you out of this mess. You need to everything the attorney says, and once your niece is out, DO NOT let her and her family return, EVER. No matter how much it costs you, and no matter if they become HOMELESS for awhile, if you want to get on with your life, you MUST do it. Don't worry, there are homeless shelters all over the country, and they are all geared to help families with children FIRST. They will be OK, but you need to be able to let them go. They will NEVER seek help from ANYONE, or any ENTITY, as long as they have YOU helping them. This is called TOUGH LOVE. You may cry yourself to sleep for a month once you force them to move out, but it MUST be done, for both YOU and THEM to continue on with your lives.
