Its a month to month. Should I just give her notice to terminate the lease next month?

Yes, just terminate.
Look at your state law for terminating month to month. If it allows for less than 30 days notice (florida you only have to give 15, for example), give your notice to terminate AFTER you receive the final months rent from them. That way they can't try to stiff you for that final month.

Also, when you write up the notice to terminate, address it to [Tenant's Name] and "all others in possession" just to safe, since the daughter is not named on the the lease.
