Appliances are usually listed in the lease. The sellers got a price they were satisfied with. The buyers bought the house in the present as it is today not 2 years ago and they liked it enough to buy it as is now. If the tenants ddone damage, the seller would be the one losing cause the price would be down and they renewed the lease. Everyone happy! The buyers should note and determine the condition as of now but not 2 years ago . They bought as it is now on a price both agreed on,they got to see how tenants lived, and better yet they didn't have the immediate expense of cleaning ,painting, repairincg, advertising

and time consuming screening, and did not lose out on rent for a month ,may be be longer, seems like a win win situation for all!
