My answer to you has not changed, so please go back and read it again. In answer to your current Q-----do not give her keys back. She is too "unsteady" and unreliable. She is gone, so leave her gone. Hi Gary, I appreciate both of your responses. You have been a great help. Unfortunately, it is not legal to require her to pay out the rest of her rent up-front. I am actively seeking another tenant, but until that time she is responsible for rent. Legally, does this mean she has access to the property? I do not want to allow her to return, but am honestly unsure if I have the legal authority to turn her away.
