Every rental application I've seen in the last 5 years has asked, or required, information about my kids, including their names and ages, IF they would be residing at the rental property being applied for. They also always ask not just the amount of income you have comeing in, but also the SOURCE of my(a tenant's)income,a job, retirement, welfare, or disability/SSI benefits. So, this is illegal? That's good to know. Also, they always ask the ages of every applicant in the form of their ID, in addition to copies of social security cards,ID cards, an awards letter if income is from disability benefits. This is all illegal?
