8 year tenancy with used blinds in place at start,......are you kidding.......... -- no charge to tenant.

using 8 year old blinds as a bargaining chip in court will blow up in your face and piss off the judge.

most judges are not idiots,... most don't own income real estate if they're hearing LL/T cases,....and most tend to favor tenants. Particularly and 8 year tenant.

8 years of ''normal wear and tear'' vs what you believe is damage is very thin ice for you as LL

Well at least a hundred times in court and haven't blown up yet.

Dont use it to bargin with. Use it to give him a couple of things to knock down.

Some of my Judges do not want to rule 100% in either parties favor.

The ones that do then something petty like blinds are just on the damages list of 2 to 20 things. And judgement for them with everything else.
And I also collect for them per lease if I go to court. Not wasting time in court we dont charge for them.
