Texas LL here. The peak season for renting a SFH is usually April through August of any particular year, IMO. That being said, I have successfully rented my SFH in February one year. This year I found (and they found me) excellent tenants in July. I rent mostly to military. I always hold out for highly qualified tenants no matter how long it takes. It has taken me up to a year in the past. Hold out and don't lower your criteria, and be patient.
