Hi John. My daughter had the same type of issue in Texas, except it was 890,000 gallons of water and a bill of $13,500! They never saw signs that there was water pooling in the yard or in the street (it was a line close to the street). They notified the landlord right away and he fixed it. The problem is now my daughter has been stuck with paying that bill. The whole thing sounds suspicious to me. They didn't receive a water bill for 2 months and then got a call from the utility company stating that they owe this money. How did you resolve your issue?
