Tenant living in Massachusetts has asked to obtain a permit for a tag sale. Other than being January and most likely won’t be getting any people due to cold weather anyone see any issues with this?

As long as this is a single family house, I don't see any problem. But if it's in an apartment complex, other tenants may not want lots of people coming and going, and may complain to you about it. And remember, that permit may be good for this whole year. so the tenant may not hold the tag sale til Spring or summer.
