Like i said investigate for yourself so you know what is going on. Way better than just writing a letter in my opinion.

Also if you go the letter route I would map out where smoking can take place. Or make your building a no smoking building.

I would paint a red stripe marking the no smoking zone.

Some tenants are like children; they want to run to "mom and dad" (the landlord) to handle complaints that they don't have the guts to handle themselves. How easy it would have been to walk over next door, knock and tell the other tenant their TV is too loud in the afternoon and they're smoking too close to the building. Gail

Why would anyone have to tell someone that they are smoking too close to the building and their TV is too loud! Shouldn,t they know this without having to be told?
