Re: T has firearms - Landlord Forum thread 357466

My Tenant's job is not related any type of jobs which requires to carry firearms.

The matter is, after I sent couple of VIOLATION notice to my Tenant, my Tenant becomes very defensive. I just have concerns about my safety even when I need to enter for repair and maintenance.

I neither have firearms nor know how to use firearms. All I know is to stay away and run away for my life if ....

I am scared especially after Tenant shows some bodily language against me.

When I walked with Landscaping worker to double confirm the work scope in the yards, Tenant suddenly opened the front door, pointing his fingers on me, and yell at me .... I did not move a finger when my Tenant did this b/c I tried to focus to see clearly if any further dangerous to me: for example, he would move closer to me from with direction with any weapons etc, then I calculated how to run away ASAP .... this was not time when I would communicate with Tenant.

I believe in our rights to possess firearms.

HOWEVER, if by "pointing his fingers on me" you mean like "bang bang/a gun", I would file for eviction immediately... which my lease gives me the right to do. I would allow the tenant to explain to the magistrate why they were acting this way. doesn't mean they would actually be evicted but he's stand in front of the court to explain himself. I would never stand for this type disrespect from anyone on my properties.
