Tenant's two computers got stolen

My question first: Are there any responsibilities for such lost as the landlord?
Most likely, the thief got in by unlocking the door. There are two locks, one is in the bottom, and the other is on the top. I have told the tenant that always lock both bottom and the top. However, they did not listen, they just locked the bottom one which is very easy to unlock by a piece of metal.
They didn't blame on me for the lost, but, I just wanted to know if the landlord should take any responsibility for that in the case like this.
Thanks!

#1) Did Tenant Call Police and make a report? #2) Does Tenant have Renter's Insurance per LPA LEASE? #3) It is Tenant's responsibility to lock up his apartment. #4) You are not his parent and he is not a child! #5) It is NOT your responsibility. He was too lazy to lock up his apartment.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.
Translation:
You can give a tenant a lock, but you can't make them use it.
No, you have no responsibility in this situation.

The tenant should have renters insurance. However, if you do not change the locks on a regular basis, like between tenants, it could be an issue.
