Have you considered putting in a lease clause for HOLDOVER? You might like $200.00 per day for Holding Over after move out day. Too late for this current problem. Read your Lease carefully, here may be something in it that might help you. All the best to you. It's a nasty problem.

be aware -- most states have very specific guidelines for holdover rent chargeable and define chargeable amounts only if tenant has volunterly given LL notice of tenants intent to vacate,.....NOT if LL is evicting or non-renewing / extending tenant. Most call for 2 x the existing rent either monthly or daily. Many judges will disallow holdover rent premiums, no matter what the code says.
